In short
PeakYet has no accounts and never asks for your name or email. We use Google Analytics to count visits and learn which pages help, and we see only totals.
What Google Analytics records
The pages you open, roughly where you are (country and city), your device and browser, and the site that sent you. Google stores this data under its own privacy policy. We use it to improve PeakYet and share it with no one.
Cookies and your choice
Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga to tell a new visit from a repeat one. In the EU, the UK and Switzerland we ask first, and these cookies stay off until you allow them. Your device also remembers your light or dark setting and your cookie choice; that stays on your device.
Hosting
The site runs on Vercel, which keeps short-lived server logs, such as IP addresses, to run and protect the service.
